Return To Photo Gallery Main Mara Lake Picnic May 24, 2009 Tour Leaders: Kelly & Brent Today's adventure led us to Mara Lake on some absolutely wondrous back roads. We had 12 cars from Kelowna, another all the way from Penticton, and 5 more met us in Vernon. After a 90 minute run over a series of twisty, uppy/downy backroads we pulled into Mara Provincial Park where we had the entire place to ourselves. It was a great spot to enjoy a picnic lunch, stretch out, walk the beach, throw some bocce balls and mingle.
